Rain

Charleston, SC has been experiencing “rain bombs”. These intense downpours lead to serious flooding all over town. These flooding events have definitely increased, and roads which never flooded 19 years ago (like the street where I live) now flood several times a year. I’m always relieved when I’m at home when it rains rather than being stuck in transit in my car. How will Charleston change in the next few years to make room for the water? These thoughts were on my mind this week as I watched the rain fall.
